With my midterms over, it was time for a little relaxation. Really, midterms are enough to distress any damsel—who needs a dragon? (I do; I really do. I’d have so much less to write about.)
Anyway, I’ve been doing some writing for my senior capstone project. This scene happens shortly after the one in A Story Begins. Here, Narodonil (the ruler of the dragons) looks into the waters of his subterranean pool and is given a vision, which helps him in his struggle over what to do about the human threat against his people. His mate isn’t too pleased with his decision (and frankly, were I her, I wouldn’t be either).
